World Presidents’ Organization – WPO


History

WPO (World Presidents’ Organization) is a global organization of more than 4,600 business leaders who are or have been chief executive officers of major companies and who are “graduates” of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization).  WPO members combine corporate responsibility and personal public service to make significant contributions in their communities.  Today, their ranks include diplomats, senior elected officials, and appointed government officials at the international, national, regional and local levels.
 
We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with this dynamic and distinguished organization and have just completed our first of what we hope will be several annual travel programs.  For our inaugural program, we were tasked with selecting an exotic, geographically-appropriate destination (to Southern California) that scored high marks in providing a luxury factor, fine dining and soft adventure consistent with the group’s expectations. 
 
Ultimately, we recommended Panama, a decision based largely on our ability to deliver an exceptional accommodation in the form of Villa Bonita – a private, 22-suite villa situated on a bluff overlooking the Pacific. Our ability to think out of the box and delivery on this privileged extravagance not only contributed heavily to our securing the business, but contributed significantly to the overall experience of the group.

Itinerary Highlights

  • Villa Bonita – the stunning 20-suite villa, situated on a bluff overlooking the Pacific ocean

  • Trip to the largest orchid farm in Panama, owned by a fascinating and esteemed former newspaper publisher, who opened the farm (and his family home) especially for our group

  • Transiting through the locks of the Panama Canal on a luxury 70-foot private yacht (complete with hot tub) and gourmet brunch
  • Private Panama hat fitting and cigar rolling event at the villa
  • Farewell dinner at villa with live band and DJ
